As Chief Operating Officer, Roy Pringle oversees the accounting, portfolio management, and administrative functions. He is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of accounting and financial data; preparing monthly financial statements; monitoring expenses and cash flow; assisting in the development of administrative and program budgets; and arranging and participating in the annual audit and preparation of tax returns. Roy coordinates Vitalyst Health Foundation’s operational activities, including information systems, office space negotiation/management, and other business-related functions. He manages personnel functions including payroll services, quarterly tax filings, benefits and regulatory compliance issues.

Programmatically, he is the lead staff on vision-related policy and advocacy work to improve children’s vision health in the state. As part of the Technical Assistance Partnership of Arizona (TAPAZ), Roy serves as the lead executive for growing the fiscal sponsorship program to help build the financial capacity of the nonprofit sector in Arizona.
