Martha Taylor Thomas, JD, SLHI Trustee (1986-2014), is a Counselor at Law and Educational Consultant, concentrating her practice in the fields of tax and educational law. She was appointed Judge Pro-Tempore Maricopa County Superior Court and served eight years as Provost and Chief Operating Officer for Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. She has held leadership positions with numerous community-based organizations for the past thirty years, including the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center, Phoenix Leadership Board of Directors; University of Arizona College of Medicine, and many others. Dr. Taylor Thomas is one of the Founding Members of SLHI’s Board of Directors.
