Kelsey Otten serves as Assistant Director for Partner Engagement, providing support for Vitalyst’s capacity building and grants portfolio, as well as working closely with fiscally-sponsored projects under TAPAZ.

Before moving to Arizona to work with the Vitalyst team, Kelsey worked as case manager for pregnant women at BrightView, a medication-assisted treatment facility, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She also has professional experience working in higher education, as Alcohol and Drug Prevention Coordinator at the University of Kentucky, which is where she first honed her passion in the field of substance use and public health.

Kelsey earned her Master of Public Health degree from Western Kentucky University, and she holds bachelor degrees in English and history, as well as an associate’s degree in Psychology, from Thomas More College.

When not at work, she enjoys hiking and exploring Arizona with her husband, Drew, and their sweet daughter, Marlowe.
