J. Michael Powers, MD, SLHI Trustee (1990-2012) and former SLHI Chair. For over 30 years, Dr. Powers has been in private practice in Neurology in the Phoenix metro area and is one of the leading practitioners in his field. He is a past President of the Arizona Medical Association, and past Chief of Staff of St. Luke’s Medical Center in Phoenix. He is a frequent writer and speaker on issues concerning physician practice, as well as policy issues in the area of health care quality, access and cost.
