Mission, Method, and Practice

If seventeen years of work to improve the health of all Arizonans has taught us anything, it’s that achieving sustainable progress requires connection and openness. It’s pretty tough, and just plain unwise, to prescribe a single path or “right” way of doing anything when the engagement of everyone and everything tends to produce better methods, practices and results.

Partnerships with unlikely sources and “fliers” taken against initial judgment have produced some of St. Luke’s Health Initiatives’ most enduring and impactful results. Read about some, and gain a deeper sense of where St. Luke’s Health Initiatives stands at the close of fiscal 2012 by browsing our annual community report online.

For us, the “right” way isn’t so much a linear assembly process as it is an assembling process. Convening is most often where it all starts.
