Maria Manriquez, MD is a UA College of Medicine–Tucson alumna who has been appointed Interim Associate Dean for Clinical Curriculum for the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. Dr. Manriquez brings vast experience in program direction that spans undergraduate education, medical education, graduate and continued medical education. Dr. Manriquez was the director of Obstetrics-Gynecology clerkship at the College since 2005. Currently, she is the Director for the Pathway Scholars Program, a rewarding program addressing diversity in the physician workforce. Maria sits on the ACOG Council of Resident Education and Gynecology (CREOG) education committee and is the incoming Program Chair. She has served as chair and vice chair of the Arizona section of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) and Vice Chair of the OBGYN department at Maricopa Integrated Health System and maintains a clinical practice at MIHS. She embodies innovation and collaboration and is well positioned to lead and inspire the directors and activities for the clinical curriculum at the College of Medicine-Phoenix.
