Sue Navran retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ) in 2015, where she was Executive Vice President. She was responsible for strategy, provider contracting, sales, marketing, medical services, actuarial services, underwriting and governmental affairs. Prior to her promotion to Executive Vice President, Navran served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of BCBSAZ. Before joining BCBSAZ as Vice President of legal services in 1995, Navran was a shareholder in the law firm Sacks Tierney, P.A. in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she represented physicians and hospitals. Navran is involved in many community organizations including the Board of Trustees of The Heard Museum, where she serves on the Executive Committee. Navran is a member of the Arizona Health Lawyer’s Association and the former Board Chairman of the Children’s Action Alliance. Navran earned her law degree from Arizona State University after receiving her bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University.
