Nicholas Vasquez, MD, FACEP, MHSM, is a practicing Emergency Physician by way of University of Arizona, University of Michigan Medical School, and Yale New Haven Hospital. He began his career at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix in 2005. It was here that he met his wife, Lisa. They were married in 2010 and welcomed a daughter in 2012. He and his family currently live in Chandler.
His interest in serving the broader Arizona community has taken several forms including the Arizona College of Emergency Physicians, Valley Leadership Class 33, Chicanos por La Causa’s Health and Human Services Board, and the St. Luke’s Health Initiative board. Currently he serves as the Medical Director of the Emergency Department for Banner Baywood Hospital. His current interests include promoting health reform, improving health policy, all things political, Arizona Diamondbacks baseball, and raising a healthy 2 year old girl.
