What do jobs, education, neighborhoods and inclusion have to do with health? Everything.

Beginning in May, the 2017 Year of Healthy Communities will shift its attention to the next four elements of a healthy community and we invite you to join us as experts, connectors and learners. Economic Opportunity, Educational Opportunity, Social and Cultural Cohesion and Social Justice will be our topic areas as we identify, lift up and connect efforts to improve health and well-being in Arizona.

Since January, Vitalyst has launched the livewellaz.org website, hosted two webinars featuring eight guest experts (recordings available here and here), made dozens of presentations, and produced workshops in a variety of settings to a diverse set of audiences. Our team is excited to offer new workshops in May and June that will range from universities to municipalities and association conferences.

Here is where you come in.

1. Continue your submissions to livewellaz.org element pages (links to submit are found at the bottom of each element page) so that we can share the good news of your organization, your work and your events (submit your event here).

2. Join us for our upcoming webinar on the next four elements on May 16 from 10:30-11:30am.

3. If you are from the sectors of Educational Opportunity, Economic Opportunity, Social and Cultural Cohesion and Social Justice, be part of a website workshop webinar specifically dedicated to resources from your sectors on June 20 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.  Contact Vitalyst Health Foundation (email livewellaz@vitalysthealth.org or call 602-385-6500) to attend the workshop in-person or register to attend online.

4. If you would like to discuss a workshop opportunity with your organization, city, school or town, you can also call us at 602-385-6500 or email livewellaz@vitalysthealth.org to schedule a time to connect.

We thank everyone for their time and energy in this effort to build networks, strengthen collective efforts and improve health and well-being. We look forward to more great connections and work to come.
